Receiving more than one code

After the first code arrives, the number keeps receiving messages until the timer runs out or you tap Done.

When this helps

• The service resends the code because you asked it to.
• The service sends a second message, for example a separate confirmation step.
• You entered the first code too late and need a fresh one.

Every message appears on the activation screen in the order it arrived, with its sender and time, and stays in your History afterwards.

Things to know

• The price is paid once. Extra messages cost nothing more.
• You cannot cancel after the first code. Cancelling is only possible while you are still waiting for the first message. See Cancelling a number.
• Done ends it. Once you tap Done, the number stops receiving messages. Only tap it when you are sure you do not need another code.
• The 20 minutes do not restart. A new message does not add time.

Which part is the code?

SmsGrab recognises the code in the message and shows it in large type with a copy button. If the message is unusual and no code can be recognised, the beginning of the message is shown instead, and you can always read the full text.
