How to redeem a promo code, where the credit appears and what the most common error messages mean.

A promo code adds credit to your SmsGrab balance. Codes come from campaigns, partners or our support team.
Redeem a code
- App: Settings > Redeem promo code, or Redeem a promo code in your Wallet.
- Website: Account > Settings, in the promo code field.
Type the code as you received it. Capital and small letters do not matter. The credit is added at once and you see your new balance.
Error messages
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| We couldn't find that code | The code does not exist. Check it for typos. |
| This code has expired | The campaign has ended or has not started yet. |
| This code has been fully claimed | All available uses have been taken. |
| You have already used this code | Your account has used this code as often as allowed. |
| This code can't be used on your account yet | The code has a condition that your account does not meet yet. |
| Too many attempts | Wait a minute and try again. |
Good to know
- Promo credit is ordinary balance: you can spend it on any number.
- Each redemption appears in your Wallet as a promo code entry with its own receipt.
- To keep campaigns fair, a code can be redeemed only a few times a day from the same network.
