If no message arrives before the number expires, the full price goes back to your balance automatically. You can also cancel before a message arrives.
How long can I use the number?
A number is for a single Steemit verification and lasts 20 minutes by default. Don’t use it for accounts you may need to recover later.
Why do prices differ between countries?
Each country has its own supply and demand. The cheapest country is not always the one Steemit accepts most readily, so it can help to try another country if a code does not arrive.
